Do you want to be more creative but don’t know where to start? If you want to learn to be more creative, this post is for you.

This post will show you how to find inspiration in unlikely places and use it in your life.

Creativity Is hard work!

You don’t have to be an artist or a photographer to know that finding creative inspiration is hard work!

There’s so much out there, and it can feel like everything has already been done. But don’t lose hope—there are plenty of ways to get inspired.

What does it take to be creative?

First, let’s talk about what creative inspiration looks like. It’s not just “sitting down and writing,” though that can help! Creative inspiration is more than just a spark; it’s an entire fire. So how do you start building the kindling?

One of my favourite ways to improve creativity is by reading. I find a lot of the time; when I’m feeling stuck, I’ll put on some music and start writing down whatever comes to mind.

It doesn’t have to be good or make sense—get it out there and see what happens!

Observe your environment

Another way is to walk outside (or even around your office) and stand in front of something that inspires you. It could be a piece of art or something natural like a tree or flower.

Or maybe the sight of people or animals around you inspires you. Whatever it is, try looking at it from different angles until something clicks for you.

Then ask yourself:

  • What does this make you feel?
  • What does it remind you of?
  • What does it make you want?
  • What do you want to create?
  • What do you want to feel?
  • How can you make something that makes people feel this way?

What audience are you creating for?

Now think about what your audience might like and what they like and dislike.

What problems or issues is your audience facing?

Think about what they might associate with your brand or product, then create something that taps into those associations.

You’ll be amazed at how quickly your creativity will flow when you start thinking from your audience’s perspective!

Have you ever wondered how to improve your creativity?

Creativity is essential to creating content that people want to read, and we can help you with that!

Everyone Has a Creative Side

At Ashbi Creative Studio, we believe everyone has a creative side that can be brought out.

Whether you’re a writer, a graphic designer, or even someone who wants to learn how to get better at writing, we’ve got tips for you.

Here are some ways to improve your creativity:

1) Don’t be afraid to look at other people’s work. If you’re struggling with coming up with ideas for content creation, look at what other people in your industry are doing and try using their ideas as inspiration for your projects.

2) Write it down immediately when you have an idea; don’t wait until later! The more time passes between when an idea hits you and when it’s written down on paper (or on-screen), the less likely it is that the concept will stay fresh.

3) Be patient! It may take several tries before something works out exactly right, so don’t give up after one bad idea!

4) If you’re stuck for ideas, try brainstorming with others. It’s easier to come up with suitable content when you have someone who’s also focused on coming up with ideas.

5) Don’t be afraid to ask for help! If you’re having trouble coming up with ideas, try asking other people for input.

6) Don’t be afraid to change your mind! If you realize something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to switch gears and try something new.

Creativity is a lifelong process, and nobody ever gets to a point where they won’t need more creativity.

So don’t give up, and never stop trying to find new ways to push the boundaries in your life.

At the same time, be gentle with yourself: creativity doesn’t work for everyone, and that’s OK. Remember, creativity is a habit you must work at—don’t expect it to change overnight.
